Cards Fighting Loneliness Farewell Party

This free event between 2pm and 4pm will include a range of activities including face painting, puzzles and games, plant a sunflower, gentle exercises and a bouncy castle.

Organiser Sam Pritchard said: "What started out as a small idea during the final Covid lockdown has grown into something more meaningful than I could have EVER imagined.

"None of this would have been possible without the overwhelming kindness, generosity, and support of the Halton community.

"The community of Halton and friends of the campaign are all invited to join us, as we come together to celebrate everything we have achieved during five incredible years."

St Wilfrid's Primary School choir will be performing at 3pm, which is guaranteed to be the highlight of the afternoon and a must see!

Raffle tickets will also be available to purchase on the day.

Event posters will be displayed around the village throughout February and will provide more information.

Sam added: "We hope to have a free slice of homemade cake for everyone that attends, drinks will also be provided.  

"For the event to be a success, we need a small army of volunteers!"
