Our building is powered by renewables with our electricity being provided by the community hydro which is just up the river, & the solar PV panels which are on our roof.
Our heating is provided by a biomass boiler which uses locally provided woodchip.

We aim to keep our rents affordable, & our terms flexible.
We want to always ensure a wide variety of sectors throughout our tenants.
Rents exclude utilities & rates, & there is a monthly service charge to cover the costs of servicing the communal areas & the provision of hyperfast broadband.
Tenants qualify for 100% rates relief if this is their only space.

Building Management

We have a team of part-time staff to oversee the running of the building, including admin, communication & events.


We have a multifunctional printer, scanner, copier which is available to users of The Mill.


There is limited parking , including disabled spaces. We encourage car sharing and cycling/walking or public transport where possible.

Bike Storage

Covered & uncovered bike storage available.
We also have showering facilities.

24hour access

Regular users of the bulilding can be granted 24hour access via a key fob for all external doors.


The building will normally be locked out of hours - before 8.30am, after 5.30pm & at weekends.
Tenants & users may access via fob.


We organise regular events for users & tenants to meet, exchange ideas & offer support, plus there's always someone in The Canteen at lunchtime.


We are a Terracycling collection point as part of the wider Bay Area Recycling Network for specialised recycling of items not collected streetside.
