An exciting, one of a kind, transatlantic cabaret of performers from Brazil and Canada
An online event with a very special in person show at Halton Mill
- the international performers beamed into the Mill, on the big screen with great sound
- Plus, in Halton Mill, live Capoeira and Samba and Brazilian music, food and art - a real tropical mix!
International performers include:
- Mary Beth Carty, Canadian Traditional Folk Singer of the Year 2024, from Nova Scotia Canada
- Carmen Guérard, Québec’s one-row accordion virtuoso
- Cacuriá Balaio das Rosas, Afro-Brazilian dance from São Luís, Brazil,
- Gilles Losier and the Famille Leblanc - virtuoso 89 year old pianist and violin player, along with a fabulous father/daughters multi-instrumental musical family - together, guardians of the New Brunswick Acadian tradition,
- Yene Velt - a Montreal based trad Klezmer ensemble with fiddles and Tsimbl

A quarter of all income goes to support three Amazonian projects:
- The Dom Phillips Institute
- A rap collective, "AltasBatalha"
- A project taking musical instruments out to remote Indigenous villages near Tefe, Amazonas
