Lancaster semi-abstract artist Helen Roe will be exhibiting her visual series of paintings, prints, sketchbooks and poems on the Mezzanine.
Her collection moves through a personal art journey from retirement ten years ago to the present day, reflecting the relationship between, art, poetry, historical context and human experience in a range of artistic styles.
The practice is rooted in experimentation, intuition, words, and a deep connection and remembered moment in time, evoked by being in the landscape and ever changing seasonal environment; in particular, the Yorkshire Dales, the Lakes, the Lune Estuary and Andalucia.
The inspiration, the journey, being as important as the end result!
The exhibition will be available to view from the 19th October til 29th November.
