Hello!
New for 2026, I am going to keep EVERYONE posted about whats happening here at Halton Mill, weekly, like I do with just our regulars, so here goes!
Any question or if you want me to let our users know something, drop me an email to greenelephant@haltonmill.org.uk
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I hope you have all had a lovely break over Christmas & New Year, and I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone when you return to the Mill over the coming weeks!
It was a quiet few weeks before Christmas, and this week has been quiet too so hopefully the place will be buzzing again next week.
Spaces in The Hive
With the office moves that happened towards the end of 2025 there are a couple of spaces for Unlimited desks opened up in The Hive, so if you, or you know anyone who would be interested in joining us more regularly do let them know.
Beans on Toast Tuesdays
They are here to stay!
It's 'bean' nearly a year now of Beans on Toast Tuesdays, and they will continue in 2026.
So on a Tuesday lunchtime at 1pm, join us in The Canteen with £2, for beans, toast, cheese and other accompaniments of your choosing.
- Should you not love Beans, do feel free to join with your alternative lunches too.
Next served - 13th January
Board Game Thursdays
New for 2026.
Join us in The Canteen on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month for casual board and card games over lunch.

Open Mic - Gauging Interest
Please let Nick know if you would be interested in being part of any future open Mic nights here at The Mill. (venue@haltonmill.org.uk)
It would be good to have a regular night, in The Canteen (or Atrium if numbers need it) so it'd be good to know interest levels.

Exhibition Space
Do you have some art work / photos etc which you would like to share with the community on The Mezzanine? It's free to use and The Mill will support the installation, provide the space for an opening event should you wish and you could, if you wish, sell your works too.
If you are interested or have some questions please speak with Nick.
Decoration in The Atrium and Ground Floor Corridor
At the end of January / beginning of February there will be decoration work ongoing in The Atrium and corridor, this shouldn't impact general users, but please be conscious of it when moving around the building.
Boiler works
There will be external contractors in The Atrium / boiler room during the week commencing 2nd February to remove the old boiler and the unused woodchip from the wood chip store.
This WILL affect daytime access to The Canteen (use the external door), The Art Lab (enter through LuneLab) and The Engine Room.
All affected users will be contacted when we know more about the impacts.
